The Beard confirms it will appear in the 2013 Amgen People’s Coast Classic bike ride on the Oregon Coast. The six-day ride is a fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation, and this is the Beard’s third consecutive ride.

Saturday, September 7th: The Beard will check-in with other riders at the Rogue Public House in Astoria
Sunday, September 8th: The Beard departs Astoria, with stops in Seaside, Cannon Beach and will arrive that evening in Tillamook.
Monday, September 9th: The Beard leaves Tillamook, has lunch in Pacific City, will arrive in Newport and camp next to the Shark Tank at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Tuesday, September 10th: The Beard and the other riders will spend the morning in Newport and enjoy lunch on Yaquina Bay. Arrive that night in Yachats.
Wednesday, September 11th: The Beard continues south from Yachats, stops at the Sea Lion Caves, Florence and arrives in North Bend.
Thursday, September 12th: After departing North Bend, the Beard plans to have lunch in Bandon, take a break in Port Orford, and will spend the night camping on Arizona Beach.
Friday, September 13th: On the final day of the ride, the Beard will stop in Gold Beach, cross the finish line in Brookings and enjoy a welcome party.
